"This property, seemingly built during the Gilded Age, maintains the elegance of the times with lovely architectural details, beautifully crafted wooden floors, large windows with interior shutters, chair rails with wood paneling below, high ceilings with crown moldings, lovely chandeliers, and nicely placed stained glass windows as well. The grounds gave privacy to the setting. Some small improvements could be made (settee needed reupholstering) but I would love to return to this spot again."

"Perfect location! It’s quaint and very authentic New England. Very charming property. We were schedule for the Mellvill House and got upgraded for $60 and it was very very worth it. Great experience. Easy walk downtown."

"Others noted that the Inn is rundown. The couch in the registration area needs some love. Otherwise everything was awesome. We stayed in the Winter Garden room. Very updated and comfortable. The shower was great! The breakfast was delicious. Comfortable back porch with seating areas. Free trolley stops practically in front of the inn. Area is beautiful and safe."

"The facility was lovely. We stayed in this B & B many times with previous owners. Was excited to return...but was very disappointed. The first morning we went down for breakfast the young lady came and introduced herself. Very pleasant. She said she would bring us breakfast and in less than a minute delivered 2 plates with... a sccop of cheesy potatoes, a pie slice of quiche and a slice of bacon cut in half. The food was not even warm. I barely touched it and my huisband who is allergic to eggs,...

"We decided to venture to Mystic for one night this Labor Day weekend. Happened upon the Belvedere and took a chance. Price amazing, clean, quiet. Huge room and comfortable king bed. Great communication from owner re: check-in. Less than 5 minutes to downtown Mystic. This place is a cross between and hotel and B&B. If you’re looking for frills? stay downtown. Clean, quiet, affordable and comfortable? Come here. "

"The cottage is in a great location - a beautiful beach is nearby, as well as the restaurant the host recommends. Beautiful landscaping at the cottage and comfy quarters. Christine is a thoughtful host - she left freshly-baked muffins for us and a boogie board for my 8 yo to use at the beach!"

"We all love property , wish family room / sitting area has better lay down arrangement for family to enjoy together . Didn’t like high table chair / bar set up . Main floor set up was more for youngsters . Overall was great"
