Rustic/dated but likable
"Kinda cool place/grounds on the lake. Friendly staff. Rustic to say the least, which I like. Needs updating in all areas has lots of potential to be what it probably once was. I’d go again. "Our experience there was awesome. It was nice and quiet. Close by to food, gas, and groceries. The drive to Cooperstown is scenic and not to far. Clean and friendly service. The water is hot and stays hot, so very relaxing after a day at the ballfield."

"was wonderful. The cabin is always spotlessly clean, exceptionally well-stocked with everything we could need, and in a beautiful area. We love the quiet, the comfort, and the very responsive owner. Already thinking about visiting again soon. Highly recommended!"

The motel is basic: very clean, quiet, and roomy. It's in a very nice town with few eating choices. Avoid the overpriced Lake Inn with unappetizing, diner-type meals.All we wanted to do was see all theproductions at Glimmerglass Opera, 8.4 miles away

The reservation was made online last minute and as it turns out I was not aware of the distance involved to visit sites of interest. Not much of anything that I could see in Richfield springs
