"Note: We stayed during Cooperstown's off, off season. Review: We were there for a conference at The Otsaga Hotel. We wanted something a little more cost effective. "In general we enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues that keep it from getting five stars: 1) Lighting needs improvement. It's quite dim, especially in the living area, bathroom, and kitchen. The motel is basic: very clean, quiet, and roomy. It's in a very nice town with few eating choices. Avoid the overpriced Lake Inn with unappetizing, diner-type meals.All we wanted to do was see all theproductions at Glimmerglass Opera, 8.4 miles away

The reservation was made online last minute and as it turns out I was not aware of the distance involved to visit sites of interest. Not much of anything that I could see in Richfield springs
