"OK, first an important note: I planned a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and I made a reservation at the Hayden Creek Inn for a single person. My son and grandson decided to Join me, but the Hayden Creek Inn was sold out and my room was too small to add two cots. I called the owner (Austin), who super-graciously gave me a room with two queen beds in his other, nearby, property called the Meadowlark Inn. So this review is really about the Meadowlark Inn, but much of it applies...

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner, Austin, was wonderful. He had tables all set up and breakfast ready in a relaxed setting. So many little touches...large windows with birds coming and going, plants on the tables and unique lamps, big back yard, and beautiful flowers. We would definitely stay here again. It was also very easy to meet and converse with other guests at breakfast."

"This was the perfect place after a day at Cooperstown. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to get a couple of loads of laundry done after being in the road for over a week. I highly recommend this place!"

"This lake has the best sunsets! If tranquility is what you’re looking for, this property is the one for you. We stayed here 2 years ago, and when we knew we were going back to the area a second time, we immediately booked the property again. The dock is great for fishing, kayaks and a paddleboat are available to use (along with life jackets) the house is clean, spacious, and not too far from restaurants & shops in the downtown area."
