"The location , the staff ,the grounds , the beach area , the pool area , the beach front breakfast area and food all excellent. Lovely large clean room , plenty of large bottled drinking water in room as well as fridge, kettle, hairdryer and iron . Plenty of cupboard / hanging space etc . Staff all pleasant and always greeting you with hello and a smile and eager to help . Will definitely book this hotel in future . Well done Pelangi Beach resort!! "

"The staff were great and the room was older but clean. The pool was fantastic. There are a couple concerns. The WIFI only works if you are sitting outside of the office. It does not reach the rooms. Also the rooms do not have safes and there are no safety deposit boxes in the office. Meant having to keep valuable on your person all the time. "

"They collected my money and confirmed in the email. But when I went to check in they did not give me any room & asked me to go other hotel, upon their request, when I went to other hotel , the hotel owner asked me to pay money 50 US dollar, which is not fair, I struggled a lot at the night time"

"Booked this hotel 9 months before our stay, selected a superior room with balcony, when we arrived we were given a tiny room with no balcony or terrace. We went back to reception and complained and they gave us another room, it was better but not a great view, overlooked the coach park at the back. The pool area was ok, got sun most of the day but there are not enough sunbeds for the number of guests staying. People were placing towels on the beds to 'reserve' them while they went off for to have breakfast or to go shopping, this is so annoying. The gym was quite good, enough equipment to get a decent workout, but they didn't put clean towels out everyday. The room was very lacking in storage, one wardrobe with a few hangers, no shelves or drawers so had to live out of our suitcases as had nowhere to put clothes. Plus points, good location and quiet enough to get a good sleep. "
