"It was nice & clean. Our room
Was pretty basic & right behind check in. Courtney was great & was everywhere. Check-in, Boat rental, dining etc. she needs a raise. "
"The owner was was very kind, friendly, and accommodating and had a cute gift shop. She also made a wonderful breakfast that started out with a baked apple! The yard and house were decorated very nicely for the holidays, complete with music to add to the ambiance. The room had everything we needed and included an amazing copper bath tub that was wonderful to soak in. Overall it was a great place to sleep and relax with much more character than a hotel room could ever have. "

We aren't here for Rice Lake itself .. but lots of folks are. It's a stop over for us. But theres a farmers market and an auto parts store .. which we needed .. and it's very convenient.

There wasn't as many shops open in Sunday's, which makes sense for a smaller town.

"It was PERFECT! It was close to Shell Lake where my girls enjoyed a day of sun and beach time! My daughter from Minneapolis came down and we brought our other daughter and granddaughter who live in Anchorage , Alaska and who were visiting us in Milwaukee. We haven't been all together in 4 years! We loved the fireworks on Rice Lake! I do suggest that there be a stool in the master bedroom because the bed is so high and too high for us short people! It was very relaxing! Lots of memories were made here! "

"Julie is a great host. This is my third year of coming here with my two brothers. We spend the week fishing, bouncing between Hemlock and Red Cedar Lake. Although a small/cozy cabin, it works for my brothers and I. We hope to continue meeting up there for our annual fishing trip!"
