"The hotel was easy to find, being opposite the Railway Station and therefore an easy walk into the city centre. Car parking on site. There was no noise from the road outside and I could see the sea in the distance from my bedroom. Excellent cooked breakfast !"

"The gentleman in charge was lovely, however it was disappointing to discover the breakfast was only cereal, pre-packed pastries and yoghurt to eat in your room, and the quality of the tea was very poor. A hotel with so much potential, but sadly fading."

"The property is old. It shows it's age in the lack of a lift, and air squeezing thru the windows, but the age is it's charm. It's an old pub with rooms above & I loved it. The dining room has lovely views out onto the garden areas and selections wide and delicious"
