"We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"Ich habe 1Nacht im Mehrbettzimmer verbracht. Die Herbergsfamilie u. das personal sind sehr freundlich. Zimmer/ Sanitärbereiche sind sauber u. wenn man sich überwunden hat die gebrauchte Beiwäsche das Treppenhaus hinunter zu werfen ist alles in bester Ordnung. "Just what I was hoping for as a first youth hostel experience for my grandsons. Quirky, clean, fellowship and fun! Sheets are included in the price, but towels are extra. "Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed.
