"The hotel is not new but our room had been redone and was perfectly fine. The rate is really good for the location. Obviously being close to the cathedral means front row seat for the bell ringing ;-). So if you enjoy a lie-in, it's probably better to choose an hotel further away. The area around the hotel is great, lively with lots of options to eat."

"What a quirky hotel, first time staying in aMoxy. as I entered the hotel soothing music was playing, an image was projected on the floor 'Welcome to the Moxy,, Check In on the 5th Floor'. Greeted with a smile, check-in was effortless. I was also given a token to get a welcome drink from the bar (I had al ocal beer - Kolsch). The hallways on the 3rd floor were marked with yellow lines (planes follow at the airport), there was a taxiway, runway and a hangar. In the room it was also very quirky with aviation themed fittings. I went to the bat got my drink and went out onto the ipen air terrace on the 5th floor where you can see the ariport action take offs and landings etc. The proximity to Cologne Airport and Station was a 3 minute walk. Overall an excellent hotel."
