Elan Valley is one of my favourite places in Wales. It's really peaceful, and there's normally hardly anyone there, especially if you head up some footpaths. Ideal for stargazing too, becasue theres next to no light pollution. A rarity in the UK. #GreatOutdoors

"Chalet was clean on arrival, well equipped with cook top, multifunction microwave/convection oven( I took my own air fryer) site easy accessible, good parking, centrally located so able to visit both both and south Wales easily. Chalet was good value for price. "

"Booked at the very last minute as visiting mid wales after a week in Snowdonia. The cottage is on quite a busy road, but wasn’t too bad at night and convenient for the town centre and for visiting Ynys Hir and the Osprey centre . Bring your own tea and coffee as none provided . Coop just up the road and reasonable pub food at the Red Lion just a short walk up the road. Bed comfortable and clean . Good Wi Fi connection. 35 mins from Aberystwyth."

"We really really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it. Kitchen: The kitchen had everything needed for a self catering stay. We brought all our ingredients with us and they had all the utensils that we needed. Living Space: The Living space was plenty for us, 2x 2 seater sofas for the 2 of us and the games provided was a nice tough, we enjoyed playing them. "D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...
