A lot of the breakfast items had been finished (things like a tablespoon of skyr left in the tub) but overall the breakfast items provided were decent. The house is lovely and the rooms are really nice. But it isn't (as I was led to believe on hotels.com) a hotel. It's more like an air B&B"

"A very classy and upscale hotel with a view of ice capped mountains from the room. To top that we had a cabin which was very modern with a decent breakfast spread. The hotel shares the property with a golf course and is about 8 mins away from Borgarnes. Highly recommended."
