"Everything went well. It is a very calm relaxing area. The cost is reasonable considering the location is an hour drive from the nearest town. Most of the drive is a single gravel road next to water which is beautiful but it would be a little scary in the dark. Overall a solid place!"

"We had the most wonderful stay with Maggi and Elsa. Admittedly, we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but our expectations were exceeded in every way. We stayed in the blue cabin, which had a toilet and sink, bed and pull out couch. Showers, a fully stocked kitchen, and laundry facilities. Elsa was incredibly warm and let us feed her baby lambs she was fostering, they were so adorable! She showed us her workshop where she was tanning sheep hides that would otherwise be thrown away, we bought one...

"Very well equipped and comfortable cottage for our 2 day stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The location is not very convenient for any activities, at least any that we knew of. The city of Egilstaddir is about a 20 minute drive. We really enjoyed our stay here!"
