"L emplacement du gite est idéal pour visiter le secteur , Mirepoix ,Foix ,Carcassonne. L environnement est très agréable. Le gite est ideal pour un petit chien comme le notre car nous avons disposé d un jardin clôturé. Le gite est très mignon mais un bémol, l absence de volets .La piscine est un véritable plus, elle est très belle et très appréciée avec les fortes chaleurs . A recommander."

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"I want to thank Tim & Hilde for the most glorious holiday. The gite was lovely and very clean. It had tons of space (inside & out) for our family (we are a family of 5 with older children) & is set in the most beautiful surroundings. We loved our evening bbq’s, sitting at the back of the house for long dinners in the warm evenings. The kitchen was a lot bigger than the photos and loved our breakfasts as a family in there. "Plenty of historic and beautiful French villages and sites to visit or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the accommodation. Jacques, Chantal and Roman were very welcoming and attentive without being invasive. Very patient with our limited grasp of the French language. Nous apprenons le francais. 😁 Limited resources in Auriac but would highly recommend Comme Une Hall bar and restaurant in the village, had a wonderful meal and drinks with the owner/chef afterwards. "Three levels to the house, all well kept and organized. A full kitchen and laundry supplies were a blessing on our trip. Also a wonderful bathtub! "

"Cottage at En Bretus has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. It offers flexible accommodation, has everything needed for a relaxing stay including a beautiful terrace and pool. There are fabulous restaurants, historic towns and cities within a short drive, great cycling and super lakes all nearby. "Un agréable séjour dans le gîte très calme où nous avons pu faire de belles balades pour découvrir la région, il y a un étang où nous avons pu pêcher brochet et perche. Nous aimons jouer à la pétanque, ce qui était possible à côté du gîte. Je recommande d'y passer un séjour."

"Just back from 5 days staying in Fanjeaux at Danielle and Denis's lovely little gite. Communication with Danielle was very smooth as was checking in. The apartment is underneath the hosts accommodation but is still very private. The gite is very well equipped and has plenty of outside seating areas and an awesome pool which is shared with hosts. It was mega hot whilst we were in Fanjeaux (46 degrees according to Pharmacy clock)but gite was nice and cool. Fanjeaux is a beautiful little town,...
