"It's a beautiful location, everything was fantastic. Transportation was readily available and the local food and market was great. Amazing beaches all along the island and great people. There was an influx of seaweed on this side of the island which made it hard to go into the water, but it was also a reason to explore other parts of the island. We would definitely consider coming back here soon."

"The property was very intimate with a beautiful view of the ocean. We were able to enjoy our time in the pool and the beach, where there are lots of fish at the shallow ends near the rocks. The only downside is that the kids club only runs seasonally, which was not as advertised via Expedia. Had we knew about this, we would have opted for another property and is something we hope Expedia can validate. "

"Our host was awesome, emails on things to see, rental cars, ways to dodge tourist traps, etc. Never had someone communicate so well. As for the property itself, probably 3.5/5 - The walkways are covered in moss, ponds are not kept up well, pools are missing tiles and sections are haphazardly repaired, service pool side was slow, restaurants were mediocre at best with similar service level issues, sushi dinner took 2 hours for example, no drink refills (not even for water). "Dover Beach Hotel is such a cute and quaint hotel, located in one of the best spots in Dover. Right next to/on the beach and a short walk into the Gap, for us it was perfect. The staff are all so lovely and really try to make sure your needs are met. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed in our kitchenette. We enjoyed our days between both pools and thoroughly enjoyed the choices for breakfast at the restaurant on site-the waffles are so yummy. There are some great spots to grab lunch or dinner on the main road, in particular Socialites and Irie Foods are fantastic! The vibe at the hotel is laid back, comfortable for everyone. You can really tell the staff care about how you're liking your stay. This wasn't our first stay here and certainly won't be our last! Keep up the good work DBH team! Thank you for a lovely time :)"
