Decorations are beautiful and cozy. It was very relaxing to sit at the lobby or breakfast table or in our own room viewing the ocean with my husband. Quiet and beautiful environment. We enjoyed staying there.

Excellent stay; would do it again with family

Planned a staycation for our anniversary and called a few days ahead to see if they could have anything in the room to surprise my hubs and to my delight, Ben was accommodating and told me about the partnerships they have with the local florist and party decorations store. They took great care of us and the room was beautiful. Amazing staff and overall just 100000/100000.

Incomparable location. Our first morning we crossed the street to sit on a bench on the bluff above the shore, and 5 minutes later two whales suddenly surfaced right in front of us. Our room was warm, sunny, comfortable. The bathroom looked newly remodeled and was sparkly clean, but perfectly in character with such a historical house. Amazing location within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Cottage was amazing and very appropriate for a 4-person family. So much better than a hotel room! My daughters did not want to leave and are already asking when we can go back. Breakfast and snacks available made the mornings and afternoon munchies very easy. Great selection of DVD's. We will be making this our annual vacation place for sure!

We love Wave Street Inn! So close to Cannery Row. The room was comfortable and clean. I usually find something wrong about a place but not here. Plenty of towels, very clean shower, comfy bedding. There’s a couple of fire pits they light on the second floor and plenty of chairs to hang out. Just so very pleased all around.*Please note: they do charge a parking fee for each day of your stay but you know what? You’d be paying to park in a garage or lot anyways. The grounds are beautifully decorated and inspire serenity. For the price though, the carpet was stained, the side table lamp had a terrible odor, the tiles in bathroom were coming off and the tub sealant was cracked. We did enjoy the location of our room, the fireplace, the breakfast and the service was excellent.

Sure place to be when going to Monterey

Loved the outdoor fireplace; even though it's public, it's built for privacy. Loved being able to walk to the main street shopping and the beach. I will stay here again.

Convenient location where you can walk everywhere you want to go in Monterey. Beautiful, clean property with a superbly friendly staff. We've stayed here several times and it never disappoints!

My overnight stay was wonderful! The ocean is about two blocks away. The rooms are about the size of a small bedroom with an attached full bathroom. It worked for me :)

This place deserves top marks. We stayed there three nights and were pleased with the staff, the physical condition of the buildings, the cleanliness and the price. We would definitely stay there again.
