Large patio doors open onto the raised shaded terrace with a stylish hanging chair and dining area, perfect for a lingering evening drink after the younger ones are tucked up in bed. This area is linked by stone stairs leading down to the pool terrace, where guests can enjoy comfortable sunbeds, an alfresco breakfast bar, table tennis and a brick-built barbecue. Another level down is a dedicated children?s playground and a small vegetable plot, where guests are welcome to pick seasonal delights to prepare for dinner. 

The resort of Rethymnon is a ten-minute drive away. Built around miles of sandy beach, there is a long promenade with ample shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, so you have all you need in one area. Beyond the town, you can visit dramatic gorges, ancient monasteries, traditional villages with churches, and the striking White Mountains.
