Archontiko tis Irinis is a traditional house from the 19th century in the centre of Adele village, in a field full of trees and natural privacy. The antecedent mansion used to be inhabited by the Ottoman Empire and the Venetians and left behind beautiful touches all around property. The house offers an exhibition of bakery, kitchen and gardening tools that have been used in the Cretan traditional life.

We had a lovely time at Villa Irini while we stayed there for our wedding week in Rethymno. The Villa was tucked away down a small street so was a little difficult to find but it was a tucked away paradise. It was so beautiful. The downstairs double bed was a little small but the master bed room and connecting twin room was lovely. We loved the pool area and spent our evenings around the large outdoor table. It was close to our venue and a short drive from the main old town. There was also a supermarket about a 5 minute drive away which was really handy. Thank you Irini for a lovely welcome and stay!
