"Just a very basic property. It served the purpose for us spending the night while we are traveling. The breakfast in the morning was hot and had several options. I was really happy to discover that there was a washer and dryer for use by guests, as we were desperately in need, and going to the laundromat was out of the question."

"I have stayed in many Hampton Inns over the years but I have to say that this is the nicest. The lodge feel to the property is very well done and what most people would be comfortable with in a place like Lake Placid. In addition, this hotel is in a great location with beautiful views of the lake, great amenities, and very convenient to walk to Main Street with all of its shops & restaurants. Last but not least…. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful."
