"Clean and cosy, 30mins away from Capitol Reef NP. The room itself was a little more snug than I am used to. It worked out for me since I was traveling alone, but I might reconsider if I was traveling as a couple. The only drawback for me was that the town itself was tiny and did not have a lot of dining options. There's a restaurant on premises for breakfast on order. "Our room was clean and comfortable enough for a quick, one night stay. We never saw an employee, as our room key and paperwork were just left out for us on a desk, and we dropped key cards in a box when we left. We were disappointed the restaurant was temporarily closed, as we’d read some good reviews about it. If there were any amenities available (???), we didn’t use them. The bed was comfortable. "The sky view at night from the rooftop of the hotel is amazing!, as good as the night view at the park. You can see clearly the Milky Way and many thousand stars. The room has great views and the hotel has a great vibe. The staff goes beyond the extra mile for the guest to have an extraordinary experience. Location very close to park entrance. High quality toiletries. The included minibar is refilled as per your preferences. Great hotel, would stay again!"

"In spite of reading many positive reviews of this place, I wondered how clean and nice a place called Chuckwagon Lodge and Store would be, Well, the answer is, very clean, very nice, great staff, and a well-equipped general store open well into the evening, with incredibly friendly staff.
