"This property is on a quiet road. There are neighbors nearby, but you would never know it. We didn't even hear a dog bark. The owners were easy to contact. The breakfast items, cookies and bottle of wine was appreciated. We are senoirs and the owner warned us of the steep grade to the lake. Walking sticks were provided and we didn't have a problem. We caught catfish, crappie and bluegill. Definitely will return. "

"We stayed this past weekend to attend my son’s graduation from Mizzou. The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of space for us to spread out and a nice big back yard for the kids to play. Some even fished in the pond. The a/c wasn’t working when we got there, but Tim had someone over the next morning and the issue was resolved. Also, the hot tub didn’t work, would have been nice to use, but there were plenty of other things to do. Tim was very prompt in answering any questions and addressing our concerns. We would definitely stay here again with a large group. "

"Room was very clean and comfortable. Close parking, safe neighborhood. Very close to shopping and restaurants. This was a very nice stay and I will stay there again if in the area. I did not see any of the bad things others have complained about."

"The children squealed when catching perch from the pond! Our stay was much too short. Everything we needed except a toaster (which was probably there) and a larger skillet. We made do with the electric grill as a do-all! The 3 and 5-year-olds had a blast bombing grandma and grandpa from the loft. A beautiful place. Our oldest granddaughter LOVED the adjustable bed...had her husband hanging on for dear life! Our oldest grandson loved sleeping in the cooler basement. Our daughter and son-in-law had a fine time with the littles in their second-story room. Hubs and I never knew what hit us in that very comfortable king bed! It was an adjustment to get a handle on the noisy doors. Once mastered, it was one and everyone got a good night's sleep! Coffee on the veranda and early morning walks to the pond were so restful! Truly a little slice of Heaven. The host was wonderful! too and fulfilled every need quickly!"
