Excellent location for an overnight stop enroute to Denmark and with the bonus of a great view overlooking the Kiel Canal. The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we have met on our travels.

Very nice, clean and quiet hotel, breakfast with lots of choices. The only thing missing in the room is a coffee/tea makers, rest is perfect!

Excellent Hotel.

A lovely hotel with excellent room and on immaculate condition. Only one thing could have made our stay better and that would have been a kettle. The staff were excellent, in particular the breakfast staff who were excellent!

Nice location

Hotel was ok! Nice location along the Kiel channel with a good restaurant at the hotel overlooking the channel. We stayed in a room in the older part of the hotel. Some basic stuff, like a water boiler was missing. One of the receptionists was also very unfriendly and did not bother to greet the guests.

The location next to the pedestrian/bike tunnel and on the canal was wonderful. A lovely corner room with a view of the ships. We appreciated the bike garage. The service at dinner was very,very slow. Over an hour before we received our drinks. No other hotel or restaurant on our trip was so slow.

Hotel top, Zimmerservice nicht existent, Frühstückspersonal hoffnungslos überfordert , Weltweite Besonderheit: (habe ich erst auf Nachfrage erfahren, nachdem mein Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt war: "Be uns müssen Sie das grüne Schild raushängen, sonst kommt niemand zum Roomservice - das hat man Ihnen ja auch auch beim Check-in gesagt" Hmm: Nee, hat man nicht, man merkt erst Abends, dass das Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt wurde und die auf dem Boden liegenden Handtücher nicht getauscht wurden, sondern immer noch da liegen ... Not o.k., insbesondere, wenn man am Telefon dann noch daraufhin zurechtgewiesen wird, dass man ja schließlich ein Upgrade bekommen hätte! (hat beim Check-in allerdings auch niemand erwähnt ???) Immer diese undankbaren Gäste, wollen dann trotzdem noch das Zimmer gemacht bekommen, gel?

Dejligt stille

Super fint sted ned til kanalen hvor man kan gå tur med sin hund . Lækker restaurant. Samt morgenmads buffet. Ligger i stille omgivelser. Gode parkeringspladser der er gratis. Vi havde vores 2 hunde med der var meget velkomne.

Godt hotel med spændende historie.

Godt hotel med en spændende historie og med en god beliggenhed lige op ad Kielerkanalen. Upåklageligt værelse - rent og pænt med gode senge. God morgenmad med et udmærket og varieret udvalg. Servicen i både reception og i morgenmadsrestauranten var upersonlig og ikke særlig imødekommende. Personalet i restauranten virkede forlegent, usmilende og ikke imødekommende. Vi følte os ikke velkommen der.

Weekendtur med familien

Dejligt hotel som vi besøger for 2 gang. Dog vil jeg sige at det ikke er et hotel jeg vil booke uden for sæsonen igen. Personalet er meget sødt og hjælpsomt, men ingen mulighed for at købe en drink eller noget da vi kom tilbage til hotellet kl 23. Det ligger et fedt sted i forhold til kanalen og se de store skibe komme forbi, men morgenmaden foregår i lokalet midt i hotellet og der er store buske ved opholdsområdet der dækker udsigten som ellers kunne være ret fantastisk. Denne gang var morgenmaden desværre heller ikke til et 4 stjernet hotel, man skulle spørge efter opfyldning af simple ting som kaffe, smør, røræg osv.
