"WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam was clean and quiet. It's conveniently located near a main artery leading into the centre of the city. Staff were very helpful, giving us clear instructions for using the bus system to get around. Our only complaint was that the ventilation system in our room wasn't the greatest."

"The apartments are in a covered pedestrian shopping district, repurposed from a warehouse with very high ceilings. It is two levels with the bedroom loft over the downstairs. It is very roomy and surprisingly quiet. It is steps from public transport and the Food Hallen and the Ten Kate Street Market. It’s also 20-30 minutes walking distance to the museums and Vondelpark. "I tried to change my booking to the same hotel chain at a different location but Expedia would not allow me to do this. We therefore had to spend considerable time and money traveling to the location we needed. Our room was on the fourth floor with a street view and very noisy. Was also very hot and no air conditioning in the room. The toilet broke on the last day and the staff were informed."
