"Like many other hotels in London this has not been refurbished for quite a while. It was all very tired. There was no air conditioning and because we didn't come back until late our windows had been shut the entire time meaning the room was absolutely boiling. There were two fans in the wardrobe thank goodness but opening the windows for us would have been a nice touch. It just needs updating but was ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And it was nice to have large bath towels."

On arrival at that hotel, there was no record of our booking and was directed to a third hotel within the chain. We spent over an hour after a long journey trying to check in.
