"The property is a good match for the cost, its no frills convenient access to campus is perfect for what I needed. However, it is under construction that seems to have been going on forever. I think it would be better to repurpose the pool area if it is never going to be brought up to standards. Also, I wish the back parking lot was better lit and the door actually locked. I never saw anyone actually posing a threat to security but these safety measures are there, they should be operational. "

"The towel rack in the shower had a burn mark, and while there weren't many guests, we were put in a room with a curtain that didn't block out the light from the flood light of a mini mart across the road from it. It also would not be a good choice if you could not secure transportation, because there are no rentals in the area."

"We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed."

"We stayed for a few days for my daughters college graduation! It was very clean, accurate on line descriptions and photos! owner very friendly and quick to respond and communicate! Great location downtown Statesboro, convenient to any events in town for and short walk just downstairs to Bull&Barrell steakhouse which also was great food and service! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and also stay again!"

"Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather."

"Our family of four kids and my partner and I enjoyed getting away from the city over the weekend. We’ve visited other cabin but this one my family enjoyed the most. Not only is it roomy inside but the children enjoyed playing in the water outside. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. We were celebrating my birthday and the fact that I passed the state exam to become a Police Officer in Florida. Our stay here was great and the kids would definitely want to return!!"
