The home is tucked away in a quiet hillside village, offering the kind of peace and authenticity you dream of when visiting the South of France. Yet, it’s ideally located for day trips to stunning destinations like Nice, Antibes, St. Paul de Vence, Monaco, and Grasse—all reachable by car.From the moment we arrived, Liz and Quentin made us feel completely welcome. Their warmth, hospitality, and great recommendations (every one of them spot on!) made a real difference in our experience. They were always available when needed but never intrusive—just genuinely kind people with a wonderful sense of adventure. We especially loved spending time with them and their sweet cat, Boots.The villa itself is charming and beautifully maintained, with plenty of space for our family of four adults. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and the outdoor space is a dream—perfect for lounging by the pool, grilling, or simply enjoying a quiet moment under the olive tree. We even made lemonade with the fresh lemons right outside the door!After a day of exploring the region, it was bliss to return to such a comfortable and serene space. "We truly loved staying here. It was the perfect respite from our day travels of exploring towns, museums, sites around Provence the nine days we stayed…then having beautiful quiet evenings in the apartment looking out towards the sea and the green hills, quaffing rosé, noshing on bread and cheese and fruit every evening. We had friends come visit and stay with us a few days too. It was pretty perfect and we definitely recommend it."

"Short walks into the old town and to the Matisse chapel. Parking was easy. I had a good meal across the street but I could have tried any of a dozen reputable restaurants within a mile. The double room had a great view and private bath. No tv or radio but wi-fi was strong. "

"This hotel is beautiful; however, the staff ruined the stay for us. I’m not sure if it were due to the color of our skin or they were just unhappy to have us but we felt uncomfortable being there. It is disappointing because I had stayed before and was raving about the beautiful hotel to my family and brought my parents and 3 other families with me but ended up being a disappointment. The restaurant staff were lovely but the management and front staff were not friendly. "

" We had a great time in the villa. The kids loved the pool and the surrounding views were amazing. Markus, the property manager was very approachable and helpful as he made our check-in and check-out so smooth. Our only negative was that the road access to the villa was very narrow and steep. "
