"I just had a very short stay, arriving at 11pm ans leaving at 4am, but the hotel is convenient, clean, practical and is sufficiently equipped for a night before an early flight, a layover or a late arrival. Definitely recommendable. First transfer by team to the airport is just before 5am, so not convenient for the first flights in Zürich, but a 25mon quick walk is a good start in the day, too."

"Very nice hotel and staff. Everything was perfect. Good luggage storage room for our bicycles. Five minutes walk from the main rail station. Like everything in Switzerland it is very expensive even relative to neighbouring countries. "

"Charming hotel with lots of character and a family business feel. Our room on the 5th floor was a very good size with a fairly comfortable king-size bed and 3 windows ( 1 in the bath) overlooking the city. The bathroom was large as well with great water pressure in the shower. No AC in the room but a Dyson fan was in the room for our use. The location is great. 6 minute walk to the train/bus station. 10 minutes to the lake boat tours, restaurants, bars and all the main sights. Staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this little gem."

"My husband and I needed a nice place to stay near the main train station in Zurich. We were spending one night in Zurich before leaving by airplane the next morning. The Central Plaza Hotel is just an easy10 minute walk from the train station. It is a historic hotel with completely updated, modern interiors and located on the edge of the olde town area of Zurich. Our room was small but immaculately clean. We easily walked to riverside cafes and there is a good assortment of nice restaurants in the olde town area. We enjoyed live music in the Central Plaza Hotel lounge in the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again if we were in the area. "

"The hotel was great overall. It was connected to a McDonald’s and had a restaurant in the hotel, which was a decent spot after a long day of touring. Though our room was muggy and didn’t ever really cool down, we had space to move around. "
