"Friendly staff and nice place. Limited availability on restaurant reservations, bit of a shortage of sunbeds around the signatory pool, but small points. It’s an Expedia VIP hotel but no perks or room upgrade provided (though there were adverts promoting paid upgrades)."

"The hotel is beautiful. I was not aware that I was given a room on their new property across from the main hotel which had 3 sets of stairs. However, the view from our room was worth the flights of stairs. My only negative comment is that the counter space in the bathroom is very limited; there is the sink and then barely any space to place your products which have to go inside the cabinet. When blowdrying your hair, there is very limited space to place your hairderyer down. Overall we like the hotel."

"We’d found the lodging by chance as we were driving across the island. The owner met us in front of the home at 10pm, all smiles, and in the room we found every conceivable amenity from ear plugs to toiletries. Clean and delightful. The breakfast the next morning was set up for the two of us with place settings, fruit, a cake that was a local specialty, meats, cookies, and she even made us farm fresh eggs. Amazing! A nice surprise after a long journey."

"Très bel extérieur belle maison mais pas fonctionnelle cuisine petite. Pas de coin salon confortable. douche cabine minimaliste ,escalier en colimaçon pour l'étage, mauvaise literie heureusement les propriétaires très attentionné nous ont ramené des sur-matelas pour compenser le manque de confort des matelas mais les sommiers du rez-de-chaussée sont cassés et tiennent sur des livres, par contre les propriétaires sont très attentionnés très à l' écoute et accueillant l'extérieur avec la vue est exceptionnelle."

"Our group of thirteen, ranging from five to seventy six, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fantastic property with stunning views of Castelbuono. There were plenty of seating areas to suit everyone and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The patio boasted a large dining table and the pool was clean with sunbeds, parasols and a shaded gazebo. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful making our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful week staying at Casa Pergola. The location is stunning, and the house and facilities that Paul and David have built are incredible. You can tell they have really put their hearts into the house, decor, and the gardens. The outdoor spaces are large and varied, with brilliant views to the surrounding hills and the reservoir below. The weather was great for our stay, and so we spent the majority of time outside making the most of the pool, bbq, and dining area! Paul and David had to be out of town for our arrival, but they communicated well throughout and they kindly arranged for a neighbour to greet us and show us around the house. They were always on hand whenever we needed via whatsapp, whilst also maintaining privacy.As others have mentioned, as you get closer to the house, the access road becomes a gravel/earth track with bumpy and uneven sections. We found this manageable, and worth the effort for the quality of the house, but make sure to get an SUV or high-clearance vehicle and take it slow.If you're looking for a place that's a little more secluded than others, is high quality, and has great facilities, then this is a perfect place to stay. We only wish we could have stayed for longer!"
