"The river view rooms are the best. Walk from your room to the rushing river in 20ft. Tables and chairs available to sit outside your room or picnic tables in the grass near the river. Get a nice bottle of wine and relax, or walk less the a block to the restaurants down town. Stay for a few nights is the best."

"The room was very large and had necessary amenities like fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Price point was good considering location. The mattress was not comfortable but serviceable. They have a bidet toilet but it wasn’t hooked up. Had it been hooked up I would have been thrilled. Facility is very clean. "

"Lovely, green property that sits above the banks of the roaring Fork River. Well, situated in Carbondale with easy access to Glenwood, basalt, snowmass, and Aspen Travis B , the maintenance manager was very helpful and available on site. Kudos !"

"The Element was such a nice hotel. It was very dog friendly, which is why we picked this particular hotel. Basalt has good public transportation options; we were able to do a see a lot without having to drive! "
