The resort is in a beautiful setting, Redmond is much quieter than Bend, ranch and farm land and a nice community around it. My husband really liked the golf course and the pool area was nice with lawn chairs on the grass around the pool. Very relaxing.
The staff was great as well. There were problems with the TV, very old and would take our fire stick, AC, one large unit in bedroom which makes it freezing in there and warm in the front sitting area and kitchen, and the last day the toilet stopped up. Again, staff was great fixing everything, but as noted, the hotel itself is pretty "tired". The sofa was well worn, no pictures on the walls, 1 fork in kitchen, you get the idea. The hotel itself could use a good scraping and paint job. It was a good get away to a lovely area, but the owners have to put some money back into the "resort" itself to bring it back to probably what it was.
