"It was clean, quiet, and the desk attendant was very accommodating. A lot of sources advertise a pub in the hotel, but it is closed and has been for years. Not much of a negative, but just be aware. There is no card entry into the building. The desk attendant has to buzz you in. "Very conveniently located to South Terminal of Gatwick (though some sign posting from the terminal to the hotel could be a little clearer and numerous). Overall a very comfortable stay with high quality bed, pillows and sheets. We had just landed at Gatwick in the early hours of the day and needed a place to sleep ahead of a long car journey the next day and the place met the needs nicely. Good breakfast on offer though part of the breakfast area was rather cold. Overall would recommend staying at this hotel."

"This is a lovely hotel in a good position for Tube access. Rooms very modern and clean. However only two plug sockets, not ideal when charging phones and other gadgets need plugging in. No kettle in room although you could go down to the restaurant in a morning and get hot water, not ideal though when you just want a brew and have to get dressed to get one. Need to be tech savy as all controls in room work off an ipad and limited tv channels available. There was an option to connect to own device but this did not work. If staying at a weekend there is no cleaning service on a Saturday."

If you are sharing a room, either you are very familiar or will get to be. Shower - water gets out no matter how careful we are Buffet breakfast- good selection with wonderful coffee stations Staff are friendly and helpful"
