"We arrived early, without notice, and with a load of request, as my elderly mother was with us. We were greeted warmly at the door, and the hotel staff, Christine went over and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Professional, friendly, approachable and excellent service. The hotel is conveniently located with various stores, restaurants & pubs along the street. Not noisy though, and we enjoyed a good rest and sleep at the hotel. Thank you for the lovely stay. "The staff was lovely and friendly. The room was ideal for what we needed. The bathroom light did flicker at times but didn’t bother us as we only stayed for one night. The hotel as easy to find, with 4-5 parking bays. The garden was beautiful. Did have any food whilst there but looked good. The beds are decide, the area was nice and quiet! I would stay again, as soon as I get to my room I would check to see if the heatings on or not. My room was toasty! Lovely thou. Thank you! We will see you...

"Fantastic place to stay in the city while being away from the hustle and noise of London. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, situated in a nice residential area, the guest house provided great beds and personal service as well as being flexible on our early arrival. We walked with our suitcases from a nearby tube stop which allowed easy access from the Waterloo station. I highly recommend this lovely place. "

"Apple House is a private home less than 5 mins walk to Queensbury tube station, making it convenient for day trips into central London. Parking at the front of the property was appreciated as was cleanliness of room and bathroom. We were not aware from the listing that the bathroom was shared with other guests. Our room was at the front which was very noisy (road traffic) as well as bright with street lights all night. Fine if you are a heavy sleeper otherwise bring eye mask and earplugs. Family...

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"We hadn’t anticipated sharing this space with other people as it does state on the details that ‘you will only share the apartment with others from your party’. Fortunately all other guests were very respectful of space. Continental breakfast options were interesting but it wasn’t clear what was definitely for our use and what belonged to others.
