"The property was very clean, nice and easy to access. My wife and I were meeting family 1/2 way (we live south they live north) to help them adopt a career changed service dog. The property is very pet friendly, the back yard was spacious, the bedrooms comfortable (for humans) and the neighborhood was great for evening and morning walks. Emporia is a great place, and my wife really liked it for dining and shopping. My brother-in-law comes to Emporia once a year for the gravel bike race, and he will be checking on the availability of the property for next year. We enjoyed our stay!"

"This the 2nd year i have stayed here and i love it! its super cute and cozy. i also felt very safe when there was a tornado warning as it is partly underground. the managers were super with their communication when i messaged them. bed comfortable, nice big tv, great little kitchen. i will be going back next year!!!!"

"We stayed here for a weekend at ESU for track nationals. The house is just five minutes from stadium, huge bonus! Home appears to be recently remodeled, new floors and paint, deck, kitchen…etc. home was stocked well with linens, towels, laundry and kitchen cleaning supplies. I’m not sure if the home is a new to VRBO rental, but the kitchen was lacking in essentials we typically find at rentals (and we travel often!). No baking sheets, parchment paper (foil, Saran Wrap, baggies, etc), no salt/pepper, oil, coffee filters (there is a regular pot, but no auto shut off, so make sure it’s turned off/unplugged). I say all this not as a complaint, but for information. Connect with host ahead of time to see what you will need to bring or shop for, luckily Walmart is just 8min away! We cook a lot when staying in rentals, and I know many families do as well! There is a grill, but it was rainy during our stay, so we never got around to trying it! The home itself was very clean, with newer bedroom furniture. Living room couches are several decades old, but in good working condition and clean. The guest bath has very slow water pressure in shower and we couldn’t get a hot shower in it during our stay, so everyone used the primary bath (which is newly remodeled). We did text the owner and he said he would take a look at it! Washer/dryer worked well!Overall it was a lovely stay and we would stay here again if in the area!"
