"We stayed at Wren's Hideaway 2 nights for our sister/daughter weekend. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the special touches including the coffee station and the pie the owner's left for us to enjoy. The the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with essentials. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. We would definitely stay there again."

My mom & Dad loved the place, commented on how nice it was, and how convenient it was, considering the nearest hotels we're far away and cost just as much. They also said that next time they were in town, they'd look to see if this house was available."

"Home very clean. Love sitting on the rocking chairs on the shaded front porch. My daughter and granddaughters love the hot tub. Also enjoyed the jetted tub in the master bathroom. We stayed 4 nights/5 days. Wish we stayed a little longer. Visited several parks/playgrounds in Waterloo Our dog a chocolate lab loved being able to run and play fetch. Totally tired out by end of day. Love seeing the stars from back porch and while in the hot tub at night. Definitely recommend this home and location....

"I’ve been to their home twice now. They provide every essential you need. It’s quiet and peaceful. They provide board games to entertain the family. I recommend the hot tub at night, I’m pretty sure you can see every star in the sky. Even the power plant across the field provides a cool landscape."

"We had a great stay. The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, as were the bathrooms. We were a group of five and there was plenty of room for all of us. The property was in excellent condition and well maintained. We will definitely be back."

"We didn't get to spend as much time on the property as we would have liked but we enjoyed our time. It was a peaceful spot on a secluded property. Meeting Dexter the Donkey and the cats on the property, as well as enjoying the scenery, was the highlight. The house is quant, maybe a little cluttered with unnecessary furniture making the spaces feel a little small, but we loved all of the plant life and nostalgia as well as the coffee area. "I booked this house many months ago, before there were any reviews of the home. It was convenient to our family that we were visiting in Freeburg Il. It was listed as a 4 Bedroom Home, sleeping 8. -the bedrooms had NO shades -only 2 bedrooms had sleepable beds (foam topper thrown on floor and a bedframe with missing slats) were in 2 of the bedrooms, so no one could sleep in those rooms. -sheets on one of the beds were dirty and towels needed to be washed. -House was dirty with one of the...

"Great location. Overall nice stay. Very nice laundry room. Ironing board but no iron. 2 smoke detectors upstairs had no batteries. Futons not too comfortable to sleep on. Sink stopper in bathroom on first floor did not raise up very much so water did not readily drain. Nice place to sit outside back of house. Cute kitchen. Very narrow stairwell. I would definitely stay there again."
