"Pros: Good location. The balcony has good views of mountain, river, and cable car. The Grindelwald Grud is walkable, about 10 mins and the Grindelwald Terminal is about 13 mins on foot. Grindelwald Terminal has many shops, including coop (grocery store) and Lindt chocolate. The apartment doesn't have A/C or standing fans, but if you keep the windows open, you get nice freeze. "Everything was well thought out to make an ideal base to stay at during out skiing trip. The only thing to note would be garage was a very tight fit.. width wise if you have a large car. Plenty of length & height but thought the driver may need to climb out through the boot!. ( we have a VW Touareg) Having said that its great to have a garage and once there we had no need to get it out until we left."

"We loved our stay in the apartment. The balcony with the views of the mountains was our favourite location. The boys loved the skylights in their loft for viewing the stars at night. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. The check in process was very convenient and they were accommodating when we thought we would arrive late. "We had a fantastic stay at this property in Brienz. Our 2 teens had the top floor to themselves, which they loved!! We all enjoyed the pool esp the youngest of our group who used it every day. Lovely quiet area with superb views, and easy access to Interlaken for daily outings. Highly recommend. "

"The location of the place was ideal for hiking and getting to many attractions in the area. We enjoyed being out of town where one could enjoy the falls and river. "Although the apartment is compact it is well thought out. Having two bathrooms was a real plus. The kitchen has everything you need. Proximity to the station was an important point. We had excellent weather so spent our days out in the beautiful area. We would especially recommend going up the Hasliberg lifts out of Meiringen and taking the bus from Meiringen to Scharzalp for lunch at the mountain Inn and then another bus to Grosse Scheidegg down to Grindelwald."

Staff was very friendly, especially Miriam at the front desk, who attempted to make us drinks when the bar was closed. She did a great job and was so nice to accommodate us.
