"I would never return nor reccommend this property to anyone. There was construction going on in the front of the building from 5am-10am with non stop banging. The construction of the entire building is also built extremely poor where you can hear a pin drop from the room next door to the person below and above you even with 10 ft ceilings. This building is also in a sketchy part of town not near any major transportation or monuments and did not feel safe walking around after dark. I left the...

"Simona is a wonderful host. Guest house was very clean, well kept with good facilities right in the heart of the port area in Genoa. Her help with our parking, where to eat and what to visit was all brilliant. She was very kind even though we arrived later than we had expected and made us feel very special and welcome. Would definitely use So & Leo's again. "

"Loved it for the adventure and friendly staff. But it's not a typical hotel: Finding the unmarked entry and making sure we coordinated arrival with our hosts. But it worked out perfectly. It's really an old "inn." Plus there are a few flights of stairs. But it's location right in the center of everything walkable (but not loud and off the main street). (Not good for cars probably.)"

"SAN Giorgio Rooms are fantastic! The front desk gentleman was very kind and spoke very good English. He took the time to draw out all the highlights to see close to the hotel. The largest aquarium in Europe is just across the plaza. The sheets on the bed are so crisp and the down comforter was so warm. Highly recommend this accommodation. It is very private and not like a regular hotel with front desk, restaurant etc."

"The hotel was very nice, great helpful staff, communicative and helpful. City view and the sea view which we had both, thank to hotel staff that let us experience both rooms. They both were wonderful! The only draw back was the immediate are when we would come out of the hotel, there was port workers hang out and didn’t feel completely comfortable coming and going late. "Traveling with my parents, there is no information on the website of how it is, they are in the 4th floor of a building that seems to be an office building, too many stairs for olden people, definitely not older people friendly, the elevators are way too small. The lady that I was in communication with was very nice, but I couldn’t stay there. Add all the information so people don’t feel deceived "

"Shared bathroom means you could be waiting a while to use it. At time of my bathroom was occupied for almost an hour by 2 women in other room so you can be in trouble if you urgently need to use toilet as there are no other options, at least none I was made aware of. Also the place can be very noisy. Room was adjoining front entrance and you could hear people coming and going."
