"Unfortunately the house has seen better times, the flooring is in a bad state of of repair, sockets hanging of the walls and what looks like telephone cables loose and not connected, luckily we did not have young children with us otherwise I would have said unsafe. There was no heating or hot water in the property and whilst the host offered to get someone in on the 2nd night there was still no hot water which meant the family had to find alternatives. "Parking was really handy as it was a designated spot for the accommodation. The area was quiet and the home was lovely with added amenities My friend slept upstairs and I slept downstairs on the couch. The couch was a little hard for me to sleep on but a really good size. Toilet downstairs was handy and a good size bathroom upstairs. "We had a lovely one-night stay at Voco Reading as a family. Parking was easy, and the staff were so welcoming—especially Leon, who gave us great tips on where to go for my daughter’s birthday. The highlight was coming back to find a mini cake and birthday card waiting in our room, such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, which made for a very comfortable stay. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the little details and the warm service. Would definitely stay again—thank you for making my daughter’s birthday extra special!"
