I kept staring at the white sand beach, at the blue sky, and at the quiet sea and the only thing on my mind was an ‘activity’ I am not very familiar with: doing nothing (and I admit that I can’t go on with it for more than 24 hours!). Swimming in the sea, watching the seagulls, dinner on the beach… time flew by and it was suddenly morning, time to take in a glorious sunrise!'

"On the Saturday night we had a bad disco blaring out until after 2AM. They tried to make up up with poor quality of music with volume. The hotel itself is a bit dated but otherwise acceptable and we had a river view. Breakfast very good. Parking could be a bit of an issue, limited, fortunately we found a good space and did not need the car until we left."

Unfortunate expensive stopover

" There s nothing in the rooms or kitchen to give an indication you are in the Danube Delta. Nothing to do with luxury either but more with kitch. Also , be aware of the electrical Transf very close to the building making an anoying high pitch noise. On the positive side , the personell is very polite."
