"My partner and I had a wonderful time in our weekend at this cute cottage. It was decorated so tastefully with all the amenities we needed and desired, including kayaks! The property is a bit secluded for privacy, but we also felt safe. So many little lovely touches of hammocks, lounge chairs, and tables and chairs for relaxing and dining around the larger property. "This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...

"It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. "

"I was late getting welcome and entrance information but finally received it. The house itself is beautiful and stocked with necessities. The only issue is that there are no blinds on many windows. Therefore, everyone can see inside from the outside (hence the fishbowl effect). If the privacy issue is corrected, I would purchase a stay at this house regularly. It is truly a gem and close to everything. "
