"I HAVE BEEN STAYING HERE 10-12 NIGHTS A YEAR FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. THE RATE HAS INCREASED BUT THE QUALITY HAS VASTLY DETERIORATED. THE 24 HOUR "GAMING" ROOM HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING BUT FURTHER DIMINISH MY SENSE OF SAFETY. I AM A BATHER - NO TUB STOPPER; I AM A TV ON SLEEPER - NO TV; CHILDREN ON BIKES AND SCOOTERS ON THE SIDEWALKS (AS I AM TRYING TO UNLOAD MY VEHICLE) - WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS PROPERTY - WILL DRIVE TO LIVINGSTON AND STAY THERE"

"We felt very safe, everything was great there. Did not get to have breakfast because we got in so late the first night and slept in. Our second morning we had to leave at 4:30 am. Can't say how the breakfast was, however everything else was great!"

"This hotel is nicely decorated and had a very friendly staff. Room was big and the bed was super comfortable. Buffet breakfast was par for a hotel, biscuits and gravy good but not hot, same with eggs."

"We had such an incredible stay here honestly one of the most peaceful getaways we’ve had in a long time. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and exactly as described if not better. The modern farmhouse style is done so well everything feels brand new, clean, and thoughtfully put together while still keeping that cozy country charm.One of our favorite parts was just sitting outside and taking it all in. There were cows grazing nearby and at night the sky was unreal so many stars you just don’t see in the city. It was quiet, relaxing, and exactly what we needed to recharge.Inside, the cabin had everything we needed and felt super comfortable. You can tell a lot of care went into making the space welcoming. The bed was great, the finishes were high end, and it just had that easy to settle into feeling right away.Also, the host was fantastic very responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless from booking to checkout.If you’re looking for a peaceful country escape with a modern, stylish touch, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Room was clean but old and needed some minor cosmetic repairs. Shower had no water pressure and water only got to lukewarm. Staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Staff was made aware that the door to my room didnt lock and that the keypad didnt work, so basically my door was just unlocked all the time. Anyone could have just walked right in at any time. I was told basically that theres nothing they could do and that there were no other rooms to move me to until the day before i check out. Ive been here for three days already without a functioning lock on my door. "

"This place was perfect!! We rented it for 2 nights to celebrate our 21st anniversary. Close proximity to Lake Livingston State Park and Livingston. We also visited the Johnsons Rock Shop in Indian Springs East of Livingston. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quite. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning, see squirrels playing and enjoy the beautiful lake view. We did not fish or build a fire as it was a drizzly weekend but we very much enjoyed the stay. The cottage has all the essentials and then some. I also got two bullseye on the dart board!! Very nice place to stay. Wr highly recommend!!!!"
