"We chose this hotel as an overnight stay on a longer road trip. It was fine but the room was very small to fit a double bed plus 'loft' area with 2 twin beds. The air circulation was poor and the loft area very warm. Also the A/C struggled and had a constant drip right at the door. We put a cup under it, but eventually just turned it off. Lastly, for some reason we had to pay 'tax' on the breakfast that was included with the price of our room when booking.. Otherwise the stay was adequate to our needs and the staff congenial."

"Lovely hotel outside of St. Emilion. The restaurant is exceptionally good; the staff are very attentive and will go out of their way to make the stay better. The hotel amenities are also good (a lovely pool). The downside is the limited shuttles in to St. Emilion - given the distance from St. Emilion these should be more regular."
