"Fantastic house in ohakune - well equipped, clean and tidy with great amenities. Hot tub and ping pong table were great and we loved that it had a BBQ too."

"158 is a bit rundown and needed a good clean especially the carpets that did not look like they had been vacuumed. We wiped the mould off the window frames. Heat pump not working when we arrived until we went and got new batteries for remote. No mattress protectors. No axe to chop wood. Lights in lounge entrance buzzed because of faulty transformers and we had to turn off. Top floor toilet cistern runs continuously. Both fire ash buckets full Could not see any smoke detectors. damaged...

"Whole experience so easy from start to finish. Great location very warm plenty of beds . Hosts very prompt to answer questions. Would stay again for my next ski trip"

"Property was close to town so this was really convenient and we enjoyed the spa. Unfortunately we weren't advised that the property was alarmed so when we arrived and unlocked the door the alarm went off. We had arrived late around 10pm so would have woken the whole neighbourhood up with the alarm blaring for 15 to 20 minutes before we were able to get hold of someone to turn the alarm off. The neighbour even came over. We called the security company and they weren't able to help. We then also...

"The property is as listed. Beautiful, well appointed and serene location close enough to everything. BUT it took over 30 minutes and several long distance phone calls to obtain the correct lockbox code to enter the property which was really frustrating after a long day's drive. I hope they sort that out."

"Great home for lots of people, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges and a small drying room. Short 20min drive to Whakapapa. Had everything we needed. We also got a late check out which was brilliant as it was day light savings weekend! (No linen included - BYO or pay extra). We would stay again!"

"Good location. On-road parking was not ideal as we arrived late. Outdoor decks were great, however a few bean bags would be a good addition. Small garden needs work as looks untidy. disappointed as fridge was not working, was a bit of a hassle to use the one in empty unit downstairs. Plugged in the microwave which nearly resulted in an electrical fire - so that needs urgent attention. Some cereal bowls were dirty."
