"Amazing. Rooms are large an spacious and fitted out with furniture which is not cheap. Bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and was amazing, with great quality products (well they tasted really good). Lovely friendly hosts. Will be coming back."

"Welcome was friendly & very helpful. Building quaint. Very clean. Some nice wee touches. No food available. Basic amenities in room lacking - no bin in bathroom, bed sagging at one side, lack of sockets, unable to get shower to work - no one in property in morning to ask for help. Noise from bar until midnight - could hear conversations, music & pool being played. "

"Just loved my stay with Gill right from the moment I arrived. Everything was perfect for my trip. Gill was so friendly and interesting. The pizza van was next door so that was dinner taken care of and they are delicious! Lovely breakfast, easy to find, good parking and great company. What's not to love?"

Property located away from major roads surrounded by stunning gardens makes for a peaceful nights sleep. Would say I would stay again, but I had to come back for work again unexpectedly the following week and re-booked without hesitation"

"No free Wi-fi code left anywhere and attendants mobile never responded, horrible almost on floor bed with urine stained manky old worn unprotected mattress, bedroom window blind broken so exposed to neighbours and tatty external areas, no bathroom mirror (previously broken and not replaced), paid £6 extra for breakfast, expecting cooked, but it was a help yourself basic toast/cereal. While overall clean(except the horror under the bed sheets, the overall kerb appeal was totally neglected and...

"Chose The Old Mill on a last minute booking as attending conference in Milton Keynes and was cheapest available... what a find! Staff (& locals) very welcoming, especially Kirsty. Didn’t realise it was so rural but very welcome after gruelling drive from Sussex and hectic two days studying. Sat in beer garden and heard.... nothing (except lonely owl). No street lights but watched half a dozen bats flitting about. Very relaxing and within easy drive to MK. Looked like tourist attractions also...
