Really enjoyed our stay
"We loved staying here and know we will come again. Just a few suggestions: the cooktop was really dirty! The bathroom rugs didn’t look too clean, could use more towels and washcloths, the bath mat in the tub didn’t look too sanitary, there was a carton of eggs in the refrigerator that held empty ..."

Adorable Carriage House!
"We LOVED the house, the host, everything was as expected, and we really appreciated how comfortable everything was. While it was cold, the house is old and it was expected. I will definitely stay again when I come back to Raton to visit my family. Five stars!"

We drove thought Raton. It is an old town and not a whole lot seems to have been updated. There are buildings boarded up downtown, a few small cafes that serve breakfast lunch and dinner. There is a McDonald's close to the interstate.

Ate at K-BOB’s, salad bar is outstanding, steak was just so-so, no taste, but the beer is way overpriced. $5.00 a bottle for a Shiner Bock! I stopped at a gas station across the street on the way back and bought a six-pack for less than $9.00.
