The area between is scored with tracks, all part of an outdoor activity centre where things like quad biking and scrambling are being practised. There was also the sound of airguns or clay pigeon shooting.

Footpath towards Ratley After a clear cross-field section the footpath is equally clear along this track. This is part of the Macmillan Way long distance path.

New pond, new fence The 1:25K map shows a spring here, but nothing this large. So this is a new pond, probably created for fishing use as part of the outdoor activity centre across the valley. These two men, in their corporate red overalls, are ensuring that they get the fence right.
