This was a clean, comfortable, and spacious stop over. As a solo female traveler it was perfect to be able to walk to the hotel after arriving on a late flight. The room had everything I needed and the very delicious breakfast set me up well for returning to the airport for an onward flight. I won't hesitate to stay again. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The location is great, right infront of the Airport. Resturant services available during lunch and dinner, tried several dishes and all are good. The room was spacious, clean and nice. The only problem is the noise from the bar at night.

Highlights: Enjoyed Donyie, the front desk receptionist/agent, at check In and at various times checking in with our party of 11. Jericho, our waiter at Tiki, was courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and I enjoyed the warm water in the shower. Area of Improvement: I loud noise by the music and people at Hula Bar.

We had a fantastic stay at The Islander Hotel Rarotonga and couldn't have chosen a better place. The location is perfect—just a few minutes from the airport and close to everything you need, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the island. One of the highlights was the beachfront restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with excellent dishes and a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. Breakfast was also outstanding, offering a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Most of all, we were impressed by the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Islander Hotel is the perfect combination of a great location, excellent food, outstanding service, and a relaxed tropical atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rarotonga!

My husband and I could not fault The Islander. From the moment we checked in we felt like part of a large family. From the friendly smile and impeccable service from Serena at reception, to the amazing party vibe from Memory in the Hula Bar. To our wonderful friendly wait staff, bar staff, room turn over ladies. Our flight came in late and the Islander was walking distance from the airport. Friendly staff quickly got us to our rooms! Slept great, had a delicious breakfast at their oceanfront restaurant that was included in our stay. All in all it was a great place to stay overnight!
