"We had two nights booked here in a standard double room. The trip to our room let's say was different. There was no bannister on the stairs but a rope! My husband struggles with his balance so found this not ideal. Also room was small and had coomb ceilings which he bumped his head on regularly standing up (my husband 5ft 10) The kettle flex was too short so had to boil kettle on floor! Quirky yes indeed. We made the best of but did feel the price of the room was too high for what they offered. The food was good especially the breakfasts. I heard people complaining that the pub closed far too early. It was early summer for goodness sake!!"
