We stayed at the Moosehead while on our way to Dinosaur National Monument. The staff was quick to check us in; the property was clean, and the cabin was exactly what we needed, with a surprisingly comfortable bed. They provided coffee in the room, which was a nice bonus for an early morning. If you're just passing through, the Canyon Pintado is a quick drive and worth checking out for some petroglyphs, if that interests you at all. 5*, would moosehead again

This place was just ok... old but fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom so small you can hardly turn around. Tub and shower needs replacement. Just bad. Look in the bathroom mirror and you see your chest not your face. We booked here because it was 1 of 2 hotels in town and had a rating of 9 on Hotels.com....I say giving it a 7 is a stretch

Have stayed there over 60 nights now for business in Rangely. Love staying in the cabins. Everything you need for a really great stay. Kodi is an awesome owner and always makes things super easy. One of my favorite things is sitting in my Adirondack chair on my cabin porch on a hot summer evening just taking in the sounds of a high desert community.

Will definitely return!! Super cute place! Stayed in the King Suite. Loved the hottub/sauna/cold tub! Not quite enough hooks to hang towels/swimsuits- small inconvenience. Pet friendly- we brought the dog- only $15 per night. It was great!

Hot tub was not in operation. The only kitchen items were two coffee mugs. The local pets were very friendly, Hippo invited himself into the room and we did not mind the company.
