About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Hiker Heaven!! Come and enjoy.

The greatest network of hiking trails in New England, from the very easy to the very difficult, virtually at your doorstep!! Ours is a secluded, private three-bedroom cape with a spectacular view of the Northern Presidential Range, in the northern White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Randolph is a small town with a unique history. Back in the grand hotel era of the late 1800’s, the guests in Randolph were hikers and trail builders, often academics and clergymen, and some of the cottages in town are still owned by their descendants.

We are minutes from Pinkham Notch, and a half hour from North Conway to the south, Sunday River and Bethel to the east, and Franconia Notch to the southwest. Santa’s Village is a 15 minute drive to the west. The town swimming hole is two minutes away. The Mount Jericho State Park ATV facility is only several miles away, and ATV’s are street legal in Gorham (not in Randolph). Moose Brook State Park and Great Glen in Pinkham Notch Are very close with trails for mountain biking, and the Presidential Rail Trail passes through Randolph. We have a notebook at our cabin with suggestions for hiking, mountain biking, ATVing, restaurants, etc.

We welcome our guests to our cabin, and we expect them to treat it as their home also, and not a motel room.

We have recently decided that we have to charge $10 extra per night for guests with dogs. We ask that the dogs stay downstairs and not be allowed on the beds.

Accommodates 4-6 : the twin beds are trundles.

My trip was to hike up Air Line trail to Madison, so the location was perfect. The house is on a very quiet dirt road with no other houses in sight. House is super clean and very well equipped. Host has great info available about the region. Overall, a great place from which to explore the Presidentials, and the Whites more generally.

It was my first time back to Randolph in a few years, and I was fortunate in ending up in a quiet, restful spot. A high point was hearing 9 different songbirds as I stood on the porch early my first morning at the cottage.

Everything was perfect, even the extra snacks and little water bottles was a nice touch. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a water filter either in the fridge or right on the kitchen faucet I have one at my house and it makes tap water taste a lot better. Had a blast there!

This was a great house! We only needed to stay one night this time, but would definitely stay longer. Comfortable and clean. In a secluded area. Plenty of space to walk the dogs. But close enough to Gorham to go the restaurants, stores, etc without a problem.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Mountain view from the back porch is the perfect place to start your morning with a coffee! Host is super helpful, even leaving a binder of things to do and places to eat in the area! I can not say enough good things about this cottage and area.... it is perfect!

We had a really nice visit. The beds are so comfortable. It’s a peaceful place. Nice pots & pans to cook with. Good trails nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful!!! So many wildflowers – foxgloves and lupines, oh my!

I stayed with a friend to do some hiking in the White mountains. The house is private (no sound or sight of neighbors) and was very comfortable to stay in. The appliances etc were older but worked perfectly and the place has everything you would want even for a longer stay. It was warm weather, but the house cooled off well with the windows open and fans running. Easy access to many trailheads. I would recommend bringing bottled water if the taste of well water bothers you (I found boiling the water in the electric kettle was enough to remove off-tastes). No issues with anything whatsoever during our stay. I would recommend this place without any reservations. Thank you!!!
