What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

We had purchased food and supplies for our 3 days on Bruney Island and thanks to the hosts, all of the cooking and food prep supplies were there and easy to find. "Great eco-lodge for couples - clean, comfortable, and including a well-equipped kitchenette. Pademelons roamed the grounds, and the beach is just across the road. There’s a small local grocery shop just down the street, and it also sells petrol in case your car runs low. Great quiet location and a very neat and comfortable lodge.
