"This Kingston home is in a quiet neighborhood located a throws distance from Hobart. Home was immaculate and very comfortable. We were a grp of 4 friends in 40’s - 60’s. This was our 5th home in 2.5 weeks. By far the most comfortable. Big points for the dryer as we noticed most homes provided the washer but not the dryer. "The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed."

"The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

"The property was great in many ways. For us the NBN was not suitable for streaming. However we had telstra 5g which worked fine. NOTE: We had plans of using the 2nd bedroom during our stay but it is ONLY available when 3 people are staying and if we had our grand children overnight it would be a extra $50 per night. We ended up using a rewards night in Hobart west which was better value."

"Comfortable property with well equipped kitchen and great deck right on the water. Pretty steep drive if you have a small car but ours managed it fine. Only 10 mins from the ferry."
