"Great location. We used buses to get around and found at age 77 a challenge to walk hills up and esp at end of day. We found bus 84 helpful to come up from Rosecrans to Talbot and Catalinata The place was lovely, well equipped and a great space to be in. We ate most of our meals here and worked very well"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this surprising secluded hideaway in the midst of a quaint neighborhood about 5 blocks from the Windandsea Beach. Also a lovely park with a great walking path is in the other direction. The property staff were responsive to correcting a couple of things weren't quite right in the beginning. The kitchenette is well appointed to cover any cooking needs. The shower is a bit of a downside it you are over 5'6" and has a fine spray. The stone tile floor has some wear...

"Very convenient location to some great local restaurants and coffee shops. Also, it’s a very short walk to the shore and to Bucc’s coffee and Buccaneer Park. The bedrooms are comfortable and each has its own door to the private backyard. The garage access is a plus. This is a great “home away from home”. "Our family normally stays in Oceanside but for spring we were trying something new for a short weekend trip. This property was beautiful and very enjoyable for young children. And Oceanside is 20 away so Saturday night we went into town and had a great evening. Highly recommend for nature lovers and young families."

"The place is wonderful. Higher end appliances. It was great for our needs. The traffic noise is audiable especially at night because you are adjacent to the freeway. The hosts kindly provide ear plugs which we did not need. As I told my husband… just tell yourself the noise is waves at the beach. You are conveniently located with easy access to amenities."

"We had a wonderful few days here catching up on family news. The only downsize was having the door open directly into the bedroom because of the babies nap times. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a place close to the Safari Park. Loved the fresh eggs!!"
